LAR has worked on a number of projects that use animation techniques to convey a sense of space through audiovisual media, as well as to deconstruct, analyze and recompose space in audiovisual forms.
“I see you in the trees” is a comparative study of people and trees, which explores humanity and its complexities within the context of nature, thus forging a path to self-realization.
Visual Weather [Visual Microclimate]
The project is a new media installation aiming at recreating the actual weather conditions inside the space of the gallery. The weather conditions were sampled from different rural, semi-woodland areas in Cyprus at different seasons and times of the day. Later, the weather conditions were recreated as light, shapes and colors that were projected on a cube.
